Ofosu Ampofo Denies Gabby Otchere Darko Claims That He’s Lacing Boots To Contest John Mahama, Say He Has No Intention


The National Democratic Congress NDC National Chairman, Ofosu Ampofo has denied claims of Gabby Asare Otchere Darko that he’s planning on contesting former President John Mahama for the party’s flagbearership race in 2024.

Yesterday, we reported about the leading member of the New Patriotic Party NPP Gabby Otchere Darko’s Facebook post noting that the National Chairman of the NDC is lacing his boots to face John Mahama in the party’s primaries on who to lead them for 2024 elections.

Ofosu Ampofo has released a statement to debunk the claims noting that his focus is on getting the Supreme Court to call for a rerun of the 2020 elections which they believe it was rigged in favor of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

He however called on the supporters to treat the allegations as false because he has no intentions now as the focus has been placed on the Supreme Court petition
