AC Milan have identified an alternative target to Mohamed Simakan who they have scouted extensively, according to a report.
Negotiations for Simakan seemed to have become more complicated due to the competition of RB Leipzig, but the next week is expected to be crucial in deciding whether the 20-year-old will end up wearing the Rossoneri shirt or not.
According to a report from Simone Rovera of Telefoot on Twitter, Milan are interested in RC Lens defender Loic Bade as a potential alternative to Simakan.
The 20-year-old has played 16 Ligue 1 games so far this campaign and is one of the most highly-rated defensive prospects in France at the moment. Milan have scouted the player several times over the last few games, the journalist adds.
However, it must be noted that Badé has been part of a back three for the majority of the season which has seen him accompanied by Jonathan Gradit and Facundo Medina.
