Leeds watching situation with Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The Leeds United manager is a confirmed admirer of his fellow Argentinian who has interest from up to ten clubs.
Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for the 27-year-old and Bielsa is in the market with Leeds willing to offload Kiko Casilla.
Leeds signed Ilian Meslier on a permanent and while he has shown good qualities, the presence of a proven premier League performer such as Martinez would give Leeds’ defence extra security.
Casilla has been erratic at times and missed the end of last season after he was banned for eight games after being found guilty of racially abusing Jonathan Leko.
Martinez has been impressive when called upon at Arsenal but Mikel Arteta has confirmed to him that Bernd Leno will be number one once fully fit.
Martinez does have interest from Spain in particular with Valencia and Real Betis in the market for a keeper but much will depend on the asking price. Arsenal originally wanted £20m but could be forced to drop their demands.
Leeds have signed forward Rodrigo from Valencia and are closing on the £13m addition of German international centre-back Robin Koch from Freiburg.
They remain in the market for a winger and two midfielders while Celtic have held talks over a deal for their left-back Barry Douglas, which could prompt Leeds to look for cover in that position.
