Jack Harlow and EST Gee Go Home to Louisville, Kentucky for “Route 66” Visual.
Jack Harlow has dropped off an accompanying music video for his EST Gee-assisted track, “Route 66.”
The visual was shot in Harlow’s home of Louisville, Kentucky and sees him driving round the city with friends. As he spends a while back home with familiar faces, he name drops fellow Louiseville native and current Atlanta Hawks player Rajon Rondo and celebrates his recent success.
“Route 66” may be a cut from Harlow’s debut studio album That’s What all of them Say, which he released in December 2020. The project debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 — marking his first top 10 entry — and features guest appearances from the likes of Lil Baby, Big Sean, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, Static Major, Bryson Tiller, DaBaby, Lil Wayne and more. “So this album, i attempted to hide all my bases, and that i tried to not have any songs just like each other . I didn’t want two of a sort of anything. So i actually showed tons of range on here,” he said during a previous interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I worked with tons of producers. There’s tons of flavors, but quite anything, I do believe this album is timeless. and that i think it’ll timestamp this moment. and other people are getting to remember this album and accept it for years to return . So I’m excited about it.”
Harlow’s hit “What’s Poppin” is currently within the running for Best Rap Performance at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, which is about to require place on March 14.
Elsewhere in music, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are set to battle it out on VERZUZ.
