Chelsea could regret sending Tomori to Milan as he shines straight away

Fikayo Tomori signed his contract with Milan just last week, arriving from Chelsea on an initial loan deal. Yesterday he made his full debut for the club, starting alongside Alessio Romagnoli against Bologna.

As highlighted by MilanNews, there are many things you need to play at a high level: commitment and qualities are fundamental, knowing how to adapt is important, but the ability to be ready is a rare gift.

Tomori has shown to have the latter, putting in an important performance on his full debut to make a difference for his new team. Making his first start in 123 days, in addition to just joining, establishing yourself so well is certainly tough.

The first signs, therefore, confirm that the English centre-back could be an important player for Milan this season and in the future. If his strength was decisive against Inter, his pace came in very handy yesterday.

If Paolo Maldini believes in him, after bringing in Theo Hernandez and Simon Kjaer to prove his legitimacy, then Tomori could really become a great player. Chelsea could thus regret letting him go, in other words.
