Frank Lampard has been left unimpressed with Kepa Arrizabalaga’s performances between the sticks for the Blues this season, leading to the Spaniard being dropped on two occasions throughout the campaign.
Having already secured the services of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, and with Chelsea closing in on the Kai Havertz, Lampard is likely to turn to the defence in making further signings, starting with the goalkeeper.
Kepa’s struggles have been well precedented over the past season, and it seems that the club are now ready to move the stopper on.
Chelsea have already been linked with a number of names to replace the world record signing.
Names such as Jan Oblak have been mentioned, but there have also been some cheaper options that the Blues are said to be looking at.

But the move could prove to be expensive, with the goalkeeper having a £120 million buy-out clause in his contract.
The Blues are said to be keeping an eye on the Burnley goalkeeper as a potential replacement for Kepa.
The Clarets’ stopper has been in impressive form since replacing Tom Heaton as number one, but Sean Dyche’s men won’t let the England international go without a fight.
