Armed Forces Day: Drama At Eagle Square Abuja, As Buhari Tried Releasing Birds of Honor Into The Sky. Oby Ezekwesili Reacts
There was a mild drama in the early hours of today at the National Arcade, Eagle Square, Abuja as President Buhari was live to mark the Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
President Muhammadu Buhari, after laying the wrath to honor the country’s fallen heroes, tried releasing the white birds into the sky but they refused flying.
At first, Buhari was giving one bird to make it fly, but it refused even after he released it into the air.
A cage where a large number of the pigeons were kept was also opened for the birds to fly but they still refused.
It was really a hilarious moment, to the extent the officials around the President started pushing the birds also.
What happened has really sparked reactions on social media, with a lot of people making mockery of the situation.
